Quarantine to be cut to five days for travellers returning to UK
Travellers who arrive in England from countries with high infection rates will be able to shorten their quarantine from 14 days to five if they test negative for coronavirus on the fifth day.
Passengers will have to pay for the tests themselves, and will need to book with one of the private providers on the government's list.
They will cost between £65 and £120.
This scheme is due to start on the 15th December
Travellers who chose to use the scheme must book a test before they travel and have to include
details of the test on their passenger locator form. The test will not be carried out at the port of arrival.
